    Access Plate in Front Storage

To remove the access plate in the front storage compartment, does it pry open or does it have to be drilled?

There are 5 push pins (white) that hold it in. Take a screw driver and push the center of them and they will pop open and pull them out.

i removed mine when i had the friebe fuel cell installed. it has stayed off ever since then. i like the idea of more room for air to enter and escape the engine compartment.

as already said the butons holding it in place have a pin in the center that needs to be pushed in (about 5mm or 1/4 " ) to release them
i just used a car key to push them in on my ski

Just make sure you do not push too hard or the pin will go flying and you will either have to fish it out or wait for it to make its way to the back of the ski.
