    RXP-X Pump

I looked through the ownwers manual but all it says about the pump is that it is a large hub, ten vane.
What size is a stock pump.
The wear ring measures out at about 160 mm, is that the pump size?

Also, about the stock 4-blade. Does anyone know what the stock pitch is?

Just did a quick search and what I found does sound familiar -- 14/23 hope this helps..

FYI- - double check that pump size. I'm pretty sure but not 100%

    RXP-X

I don't really understand prop pitch, so hypothetically, with my mods, if I went to a 15/22 my PX would get better top speed or a better hole shot?
    I'm looking for the holeshot.

For better hole shot you'll want to drop the leading edge down to a 13 or 14.

This is on the 15/22 solas. Try the 15/22 like it comes. Then dial in your target RPMs and then try dropping the leading edge a degree at a time to see what the difference is.

The OEM 4-blade's pitch is 14/25 and the pump is 159mm

I'd probably start with the 15/22. You might have to take a little bit of pitch out of it since you're turning 8400rpms, but I would definitely see how it runs first untouched.
