After riding in the salt I spay the down whole engine bay thoroughly, & after tilting the front of the ski to drain the water I suck out any left over water with a wetvac. There is a deep pocket in the hull liner under the SC housing that is hard to drain no matter how high you lift the bow...wetvac works best. I use Fluid Film on the engine & other aluminum stuff like the water box & steering stem & then fog the whole hull with a lightweight silicone. I still found more corrosion on the block than I expected when I had my exhaust off, so I've been making sure to reach up under the manifolds with the Fluid Film now.

Thanks very much. when washing inside the hull what is the maxium amount of wanter u can get in there (as in deep) before damage can be caused

Dont worry i aint planning on filling it up but just thinking of a couple of inches and swishing back and forth to wash under the engine

I've filled my hull 1/2 full of water without causing damage after a hose clamp broke on a thru-hull, but I wouldn't recommend it. I usually just prop up the front of the trailer & open th drains before spraying it.
