Check the SCer to IC to TB hoses. How many hours? Any water in the hull? Get up under it check intake for debris.

If he's 100% sure no debris in impeller and or pump & venturi then, check ALL big hose clamps, waterbox-exhaust, supercharger to intercooler, intercooler to throttlebody, air supply to supercharger, etc. If all ok, pull intake to supercharger off , reach inside and try to turn supercharger by hand. It should only move slightly! If he can turn it by hand then. SC washers are shot and needs rebuild. See how to section on how to remove SC, send to Jerry for rebuild. Change spark plugs, they are only $2.79 each at O'Rielly's Auto parts.

    good luck

I am guessing intercooler hose came loose or exhaust hose. Recheck all the clamps and i reccommend to replace OEM to T bolt on intercooler and exhaust.

    Wear Ring

Your Wear ring is shot bro. Same thing happened to me when I was a newbie at riding. Im betting he rode in some shallows and hammered it like I did and blew the wear ring.

Its a $50 dollar part that the dealer will charge about $500 dollars to change.

Have him look at it real CLOSE I bet its gouged some. Does it spin out of the hole and just seem to rev before it gets going?

Before taking the ski apart and pulling the S/C just check the wear ring clearence. Its a $60 fix.
