Phoenix Watercraft Club @ WFinals
We plan to be at Havasu for the World Finals and was trying to get some people together from our area and the tri state for a recreational ride up to Hoover. Their are still some group campsites still available at Crazy Horse if anyone wants to go in on the group rate. Email me if interested, wcshannon1(at)cox.net

Just curious, how long of a ride is it up to the Hoover damn from Havasu?

Well, If your in Laughlin you can trailer up the road a couple of miles from there and put in at Kathryn landing just on the other side of Davis Dam. From there it is about 20 miles to Cottonwood Cove Marina and then about 35 miles up through the canyon (breathtaking scenery BTW) to Willow Beach Marina and then 10 miles through the rest of the canyon to Hoover. Last year we drove 35 minutes out of Laughlin to Searchlight Nevada and back down to the River to Cottonwood Cove and put in there. From Kathryn Marina it's 65 miles one way..Cottonwood it's 45 one way.

Jerry, I can't even begin to tell you how beautiful that country is! It is gorgeous all the way through there..In two weeks we do Lake Mead where the AWA staff went for the pics in RIDE..That whole area is nice.
