    My new 4 inch Intake

Thanks to RXPblast (justin) for the adapter and rectifier mount, and Shibby for the Hose hookup in New York. I bought the clamp, air filter, and polished adapter for hose to filter from pep boys. I am ordering a custom prefilter from outerwears. I will be testing it out Saturday on the Mississipi river with Muddy River and Suck my wake. will report back on my massive gains!

That is very similar to my setup. The only difference is I tied into the under seat vent with PVC and at the end of the seat vent near the seat I placed a outterwear on it for filtration. No need for a K&N on the hose this way.
You are gonna love it. It works very well.

it's "smooth" bore hose, but one of them seems to have a much higher content of a EPDM rubber or something. also the helix metal coil seems to be spaced differently. In short, this different type of hose they've been giving me and the forum members is much more transitional in the tigh turns. the high rubber content hose gets very squishy when it's crunched up, but if u pull it tawt (spelling?) it realls gets smooth. this newer one stays constistent throughout has been my experience.

nothing that is going to give or take rpms really, just a preference thing

Steve I noticed that same thing in his pics. Mine was the first hose and doesn't do the turns aswell.
