    PWC Insurance?

Who are you guys using? Good? Bad?

I did some searching here and only came with a few old posts about insurance and not a lot of info, so I started a new one. Hope you don't mind.....I am a newb

I got a quote last year from Farmers where I have all my other insurance and got a quote of $700 yr for decent comp/collision/liability. When I went in to start the policy, not only had the price gone up, but the deductibles did too.

Since I bought the new 260X, I felt a machine of this value should be insured and wouldn't cost much to add the 12F.

I got online quotes from Progressive, Geico, and McGraw.

Progressive was the cheapest at $300yr for $100/300 limits
    $250/500 ded. $5K medical.

McGraw was $593 for just the 260X and Geico was right in there at almost $700 for both skis.

Based on price only........Progressive is the obvious choice, but what gives here? All insurance companys suck to deal with no matter what side you are on.

What do you guys think? Any dealings with any of these guys?

    Tony

See comments about Progressive denying a member's claim here:

I had Progressive for several years, started out cheap but their premiums kept going up and I finally dropped them. I suggest Markel Marine; they were a heck of a lot less than Progressive when I bought my policy for the RXT's, in fact they were half the cost. Here's a link:

thats cheap.. but they dont have too worry about you wrecking your boat.. they dont have to pay for it..

that seems like a low number though just for liability

They got reviews from the users here anyways...
