    how does the ecu work

    like riva ecu. what i mean is like how does everything go up, if im at 8000 rpms with my set up how does it keep going up with out more boost

    You gotta depitch your prop to raise your rpm's

    +1 but also a different timing curve helps gain some rpms.

    so whats faster running with it really pitch or depitching and running more rpms. i think its the same shit

    It's been proven over and over that a properly set-up ski with an aftermarket ecu will be faster.

    The ECU will gain you some speed/RPM due to the more aggressive tune inside it but as BD said turning higher RPM with a smaller prop will be faster overall, also going to have a harder holeshot. R88

    AM ECU, More timing + more rpms + more boost = more HP, and prop pitched correctly for max rpms of AM ECU= better holeshot, better acceleration, more top end.
