well i found out why it is when you run three pumps on three carbs you can't feed one carb off the returns from the other two,symptom is the two carbs will start to flow (not dribble) fuel out the booster,i've figured out why,lets see if any body else can tell me what's going on????

not the needle and seat,when the center carb pump would pulse the suction stroke would pull fuel in from the other two carbs as well,which would suck fuel out of the other two carbs,and cause the needle and seats to lift with each pulse of the center pump.

Interesting thought, did you verify that action with a pressure guage?
