    Front Oil Seperator

    2005 RXP SCIC

This might be a dumb question, but do I need to drain the oil before removing the front oil seperator housing?

    Answer: Yes

I learned the hard way and dropped a good 2-3 quarts of oil in my hull... Time to order an oil extractor...

This is the one I picked up:

    http://www.amazon.com/Mityvac-7400-L...1794097&sr=8-1

It worked well and feels like it's really well constructed. A bit over sized for what I need though.
