    need to do crank seals on a 03 gp800r. why they bust out, & how to replace them

    here is my last thread leading to the find, now i need to figure out how to replace them, i understand the motor needs to come out and cases need to be split.

    1. is their a write up on how to split the cases/ replace the pto seals?

    2. why would the seals jsut pop out?

    3. i would like to the job myself do i need any special tools or procedures to do this?

    Its small enough to send out, I wouldn't try this if you haven't done it before. There is a technique to doing this. Its critical that it be done right!!! There are varios people on here that can do it for you. If your in the NorthEast Call Island Racing, south East Jims performance, south west give Waterwoody a jingle.
