Aquatrax F12X engine fault.
I'm hoping that I can get get some good solid feedback from you folks to resolve a problem I have with my 2003 Aquatrax F12X turbo.
It starts and runs fine at relatively gentle speeds but it seems that when it hits higher revs (approx. 3/4 the way to the red line it goes into limp mode, the red warning light begins to flash and FI appears as the fault.
however If I turn the motor off and then back on it resets the fault and the ski will run fine until the higher revs are reached, which will then cause it to go into limp mode again.
I have been told various things could be the cause from faulty sensors, too thick oil being used etc. But as we have no official Honda Dealers here in the UK getting a definitive answer is proving difficult to the point where I am considering importing my own spares direct from the States.
Does the fault codes need to be reset once the fault is fixed before the ski will run properly?
Any pointers to resolve my running problems gratefully recieved.

p.8-9, 8-10, and 8-13+, forget about the harness/meter ..not for your year. Get a paperclip, works great.

Removed all ancillaries so that I have access to the turbo assembly.
Have checked the activation of the wastegate with an airline and have found that it is rusted up and not working.
Can these be:-
Stripped down and free'd off to get working again, or replace with a new wastegate assembly?

Thanks for the offer dav-dman.
I'm getting some prices from UK turbo specialists at the moment so hopefully they should be able to repair the problem for a lot less than the cost of a new turbo unit!!
