Stock pipe with D plate/chip is better than the S3 you have for top speed.
    VF3 reeds
    HO pump

What is considered big money? You can spend some change just doing the HO pump if you think $500-$600 is "big money".

2005 and up. It will bolt on straight, but you will need to grind the bottom of the pump to clear jims plate.the 13/19 is a concorde impeller and connot be used with the h.o. Pump. Instead you will need the solas dynafly 15/20........
You will also need to make sure the compression is up on your head so that you can turn this prop. The vfiii reeds should net you approx. 80-100 rpm's. Be sure to have the ride plate square and even and dont forget to run with an 800 or 1200 grate.

You can check out my thread and see mods for 1200. An '05 pump and dynafly prop will make alot of difference. A cheap mod that works awesome is find a Protec modded OEM CDI. You will pick up about 100rpms. I think there might be one still left in classifieds for about $75
