New to Sea Doo - questions on break-in
I just traded in my 07 Ultra 250X for the 2010 RXT IS. I hope to ride it today but before doing so wanted to ask for tips.
Any recommendations on the break-in? I've read 5-10 hours varying the RPMS and not going WOT for more than a few seconds. Any tips appreciated?
Any other tips for getting started?

sounds like you got it under control, more than a few secs at WOT is ok but not too long, dealer might check your throttle positions, yes they can tell how long you stay at a certain point on the throttle

Ya your almost spot on. Varied rpm's some short wfo runs. Just dont baby it! You may have just started an argument with this haha

I have nothing but good things to say about my '06 RXTs, but I can't help but wonder about why SeaDoo would lose so much storage in their new models.
Sorry about going off-topic...
