    massive problems....any other way?

hi, today i changed my super charger blade. not the best job i have ever done! infact the most unsuccessful one.

On refitting the supercharger i undone the oil filler bolt on top of the supercharger and it feel down the back between the supercharger and engine, so i moved the supercharger out the way and all i heard was it drop!!! the only place i can think it went was........IN THE ENGINE!....i have looked under the engine but cant find it there so it must be inside it.

so to get it out(if its in there) does it have to be engine out or is there another way as i cant afford that amount of work to be done

im so gutted as something so simple has gone so wrong... ...... on the positive note, i get to go to work tomorrow where i am away from the bloody thing and get to forget about it lol

    thanks ian

Well, it likely fell right into the pan. You may be able to fish out with a magnet on a stick.

Might be nothing to worry about if you can't get to it. Maybe...
Otherwise, pull the motor, pull the oil pump and take off the pan.

i must admit i have stupidly run the ski for 3 min on a hose reving it to 3k rpm and have been tipping trailer about every way moving it in the garage.... it did run smooth......

could it just sit down in the bottom of the oil pan out the way?

    thanks ian

    Probably not an issue.

Probably initially fell onto the baffle plate (front is to the left). Then fell off into the pan. There are two oil pipes that run through here one at the bottom and one under the plate. They both have a screen on them so it would not get in there. I suppose it could make its way into the tube on the back, but oil comes in there so it would not be likely.

You would think it would be a one in a milllion thing if something happened.
(My luck I would be the one...)
