    s/c clutch ?

    well I have approx 100 hr on my ski still running good but when changing my oil today i removed the riva tube and I can turn the impeller by hand
    It isnt verry easy to move but it is turning last time I tryed it diddnt move
    is this bad? my warrenty ends in a few days should i have them order one
    for me? My dealer will order parts and let me install them,I am a mechenic
    at a car dealer and I have all ase cirt. OR is this normal? hulk help.

    Im sure your clutch is fine if you are turning full RPM's.

    Proper proceedure states you must lock the camshaft before trying to slip the clutch so your method isnt accurate.

    By all means, tell your dealer your clutch is slipping and you cant get more than 6300 RPM's. Keep the new clutch kit on the shelf until yours fails

    lol . theay want return parts so I have to replace it to get new parts

    Darn, my dealer wanted my old parts back too. Hell, no time like the present to get a fresh clutch... go for it!

    Dealers need the old parts to return to BRP to get credit for the warranty repair. (if they ask for them)

    Nils , I've always been able to turn my with my finger(even after I set the sc slip) however I can see the driveshaft turning.

    Krazy, get some channel locks with rubber grips and grab the drive shaft and try the test again.

    well it ran good today 7950 and 8000 rpm and a best gps run at 72.4 mph
    I ran 72.0 mph full tank early in deay and at 730 pm went 72.4. so My clutch is ok I think
