Hey found to have a comp proublem and read on here that it may be leaking comp between cylinders it is a 2000 gpr1200 Im pulling the motor out this winter to do carbs kits and f/a also a 4 deg key way.
Is there anything i should do to the cases or cyclinder why i have it apart?

Check the cylinders for wear, may need i 'light' hone. Fresh top end is always a good thing depending on the hours. All new gaskets, pressure test the engine for starters.

It has got a new top end with 20hrs but it keeps 150psi in it for a ride or two then drops. so i have shaved the head twice but i keep lossing comp.
can you loss it thought the case or seals?
    thanks.

    Hey there 66V...

You should read this very well written article by Group-K...
    Here:. http://groupk.com/tec-comp.htm

Pay particular attention to the "Joe's story" part..!!!

Once you finished that, move onto this one...
    Here:. http://groupk.com/tec-airleak.htm

These two articles alone will help give you a better understanding of how your engine works..
