Bump Rail around Ski
I've been looking at my ski and im not happy with th ebump rail around it, in some places it looks pink and there a few marks on it here and there
Has anyone hydro turfed there bump rail on a SLT ski?? Im kinda after a pic befoe i do it as i cant decided

hi m8 if its dimple plastic it wont skick properly, peel and pull off, look at plastic spray by kote, your best bet

If it is merely faded, the rub rail appearance may be improved by applying controlled heat using an electric heat gun (not a flame torch).
Other techniques involve rubbing the surface with fine steel wool, and using automotive bumper and exterior plastic restoration products.

Go onto http://www.x-h2o.com/ and post up, pretty much all the stand up guys turf their rails and they always look pretty good, I haven't heard many complaints about it busting loose, but I don't know what/how they stick it to the rails.
