    Riva to release new intake grate (stainless) and ride plate for FZ skis.

    The new intake grate is made from stainless steel for increased strength


    We are taking pre orders for these now. Scheduled ship date for the intake grate is 6/1/2010

    That is a nice design with the 2 bars up front. It has better strength than the single bar and better water flow than the R&D triple bar. The price is reasonable too considering it is stainless.

    Looking forward to results from the first tester as far as any speed differences. I don't expect any speed gains, but no speed loss would be a nice plus.

    It will be interesting to see how the Riva ride plate compares to the R&D one.

    The presence of a release date

    It's the grate that's a "version 2". Riva never came through with their earlier promised plate.

    Are you going to add these to your Riva stage 1 kit when the parts are released?

    I have a new FZS next week and once its run in will buy the stage 1 kit from the Greenhulk store.
