    2000 1200r PV?

I started to instal my WE clips this morning but ran into a little problem when i got to the #3 cylinder. The link that holds the PV in place is way bigger than the other 2 and the WE clip wont fit around it. I know that before i bought the ski it had a new top end, head, and cylinders; because of a PV failure. I dont know if someone was trying to cut corners on the rebuild or if this is not even a problem at all. I also discovered that the valve covers are 800 covers; is this ok? The valve covers were also spotless no grease, grime, or anything. Can someone please tell me whats going on or if you have any advice?

Here are some pics of the valve cover in relation to the others and also the link.
