    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    Now think about this:

    Guns:

    (A) The number of gun owners in the U.S.

    is

    80,000,000.

    (Yes, that's 80 million..)

    (B) The number of accidental gun deaths

    per year, all age groups,

    is

    1,500.

    (C) The number of accidental deaths

    per gun owner

    Statistics courtesy of FBI

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    So, statistically, doctors are approximately

9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do."

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN,

    BUT

ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    Please alert your friends

    to this

    alarming threat.

    We must ban doctors

before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
    >>>>>
Out of concern for the public at large,

    I withheld the statistics on

    lawyers

for fear the shock would cause

people to panic and seek medical attention.

Those number are cool, except they leave out one little detail.

How many people have been killed accidentally by doctors that were not under the knife or being operated on by a doctor without the doctors concent? (bet that number is close to ZERO!)

Now how many people have been killed by guns and had no idea a gun was to come into thier daily lives?

In other word, doctors do't go around killing people, but gun toting criminals sure do.

So thake that stupid report and put it right back where it belongs, the trash.

Yes I know, guns don't kill people, people do, but they sure make it a lot easier.

P.s Im not anti gun, just fed up of that stupid report.

I work with doctors all day, eat with them, talk to them and I have yet to see one "accidentally" go off and kill some one.

I watch TV, I have seen a lot of holdups on video, but am yet to see a criminal walk into a 7-eleven and say "Give me all the money or else im gona tell this DOCTOR to cut your brains out and leave them all over the floor".

Also the report says "accidental" deaths, how many people get shot and its not accidental (200,000 +)

In the end, its safier to see your doctor than it is to sit in your back yard in any down town city in the US.

I don't want this tread to turn into an anti gun thread or pro gun thread, just stating the obvious flaw in that report.

the obvious flaw in the report is that it isn't even close to true. Go to snopes.com or any similar site and see for yourself.

    BTW I own 3 guns, I'm not anti-gun, but I am anti-false reports

Just curious as to why you say it isn't true?

Those numbers were posted by government agencies. I would trust those over a .com site. Anyone can post anything on the net. One reason why some of my high school teachers would next accept reports with information from .com sites. They had to be .edu, .org, .gov, etc.

Another thing I would like to add: I had some family members go to Alaska for 3 weeks 2 years ago. Crime is very low up there. While talking to locals in many different towns in Alaska, my Uncle found out why crime is low......everyone carries "Bear Repelant". This "Bear Repelant" is high power rifles. Now are you going to rob a store, bank, etc. if you know everyone else in there is carrying "Bear Repelant"?......I think not.

Now I know what you're all thinking, Alaska doesn't have the major cities like Detroit, New York, etc., or the population, but I don't care. If you know everyone has a weapon you will think twice about doing something stupid like robbing a store or bank.

My solution to lowering crime: Give everyone "Bear Repelant". The country won't turn into a Wild West like some people claim, and Alaska proves this.

I'm a gun owner. I will defend myself and my property if threatened. I support other views, but this is mine.

-I DO believe the population of a large city toting bear repellent would be an issue. Population density is a very important concept. Dont throw it away.
-NOBODY should have a firearm without proper training. My father taught me the rules, showed me how to shoot, and how much responsibility it is to carry arms. I could still easily make a mistake, but the odds are in my favor.

Here is my question... WHO IS GOING TO TEACH THE NEXT GENERATION??? Hillery Clinton???

I'm amazed at how many good folk in THIS country think it's illegal to own a gun.

Hillary and Bill Clinton and Al Gore die in a car accident and
suddenly find themselves in heaven. God addresses Al first. "Al,
    what do you believe in?"

Al replies, "Well, I believe I won that election, but that was your will that I did not serve. And I've come to understand that now."

God thinks for a second and says, "OK, very good. Come sit at my left."

God then addresses Bill. "Bill, what do you believe in?"
Bill replies, "I believe in forgiveness. I've sinned, but I've never
held a grudge against my fellow man, and I hope no grudge are held against me."

God thinks for a second and says, "You are forgiven, my son Come and sit at my right."

God then addresses Hillary. "Hillary, what do you believe in?"

Hillary says, "I believe you're in my chair."
