Thrown off now...
So there I was, jumping waves in PC, Fl for the 1st time this year. Told myself that I wouldn't get too wet but then it happened.
After landing a very nice 4' foot wave, I set my sights on the next incoming wave and I gassed it. Unfortunately, the ski went backwards and I went over the hood, head first into the gulf and the wave!
So what the hell over. Well, it appears I forgot to do the most important pre-flight item before jumping waves vs. just riding.
I forgot to take that dam reverse gate off!!!
So, I guess I can admit I have been thrown off a SHO now!!

Are you saying you jumped a wave and the reverse gate dropped in the air?

I think it drops right upon landing. At least this is what I have found.

I got thrown off 5 feet the wrong way from my ski 2 weeks ago landing the wrong way. My fault , took off on the wrong angle. lol. only thing was , I lost my Oakleys in the sea. Some shark will be wearing my prescription sunnies some where in the bottom of the sea. Havent been able to ride since then. My yammy dealer has fitted and tested my ski since......................Its burning me.
New Sunnies should be ready (fingers crossed) this week, coming from the states.
