    temperture strips

    hi guys any body used temp strips , thinking of using on my rebuilt engine to moitor, when setting up and running in. seen some range from 60 oc to 90 oc. any thoughts please

    Just buy a portable infra-red temp gauge. like 30.00 instant readings. I have one and use it all the time works great, small, and keep it with the ski.

    Hobby shack has them..

    Randy at Watcon.com sells, or at least used to sell them. Check with him.

    Thermostats should open at 143* (optimum temp for 2 strokers)
