    Make SHO into HO posible?

I like the FX HO for the fuel economy but I can get a used 2008 SHO for my price point so my question is is it posible to take the supercharger off a SHO and make it a HO? Thanks

I suppose so, but you would likely need HO cams in addition to an ecu.
Right there you have a few thousand in.

Get the SHO and just keep the mods limited if you are concerned with fuel consumption.

The stock SHO is not all that bad on fuel as long as you are not always hitting WOT.

Maybe taping some foam between the throttle and the grip would help from hitting it wide-open?

At cruising speed is the HO much different than the SHO in fuel burn really? Between 5 and 6k rpm I can range from 8-10 gph. I don't think a HO will differ too much from there. All stock of course.

The learning mode on the SHO is terribly unsatisfying!
