Apologies for flakyness...
Greeting's fellow Polaris Addicts,
My name is Rod and I am a....
Actually, I would like to apologize for flaking on the Southwest Polaris Get-together. Starflight was originally going to spear head this then he fell on hard times.
So I decided I would ram-rod it and guess what. I have been off work since December. We were locked-out of our jobs by Rio Tinto (borax mine in Ca.)and I was hoping for a swift resolution so I could continue to help with this but no end in site. Sad a company that makes 4.8 bil. on a down year (net 2009) feels the only way it can make more is to take from the workforce.
Nonetheless, I am hoping that this will end soon as I am having to dip into the kids college fund now. If it does end soon, and we have a decent year, I pledge to you I will put forth a great effort next year and a fun ride for all whom choose to go. There are some excellent rides to be made there and I look forward to meeting many of you folks. I was hoping to come to Starved Rock so I could see Kevin and Danno's coupling but there is no way I can make that either.
Any ways, again, sorry to you guy's but life happens.
Oh yeah, and....

Know the feeling well,Lived it for about 8 years in Michigan, then finally got smart and came to Iowa,Been working strong for 3 straight years, awful nice feeling. Still gun shy to go into debt to buy anything on credit. So use to always paying cash. But guess That's a good thing. As of right now I owe on nothing but the house.
