You'll lose speed with the free flow since you have no engine mods.

Have you done a baseline on your ski to see what GPS speeds you are hitting??...I didnt lose any speed going to a free flow on my ski...but it is LOUD!!....

Haven't rode it yet, just picked it up a month ago and bought a few things and took it to the local shop to install the Solas, wave eaters, Dplate and chip, I put on the Worx sponsons and have been looking into what to do next, was thinking of the free flow and Riva intake grate, I want to order everything at once to save on shipping.

    ....

doubt you will loose any speed and it will come in handy if you plan on aftermarket f/a and high comp heads but in the mean time you ski will sound like a beast!!!

Do yourself a favor and get the ski to the water for a baseline first....use a nice GPS to track speed or else you will never know what your modifications are doing for you....your ski has to be set up and run perfectly before blindly adding parts...imagine how you will feel getting on the water with all of these great go fast goodies only to find the ski is not performing well...where would you start looking for a problem??...its always best to start testing in factory stock form and going from there...TRUST ME!!....you will save money and time that way.....

.....and as for replacing parts and installing them yourself?...that depends on you!...I do all my work myself...motor builds...pump replacement...prop changes....seeing as you have a shop doing your work at the moment...I would say dont try to do the free flow yourself....let the shop do it....its a huge job compared to sponsons...
