    Should I re-tap the thread?

My rear bolt from the intake grate falls off. It lost the thread and now the hole is a bit bigger than the factory size. I would need to go at least 1-2 sizes bigger. Now, can I re-tap this hole? What size? Then, the other 2 with the brass inserts that keep coming off, what can I do about that? Can I epoxy them inside the hole?

I'd hate to have to take the ski to the shop again for this

    Need help/suggestions...Thank

You are 100% right about that!

But I would rather go through this headache than the headache of driving about 45 miles to get there in the crazy Miami/Ft. Lauderdale traffic man

If I have too, I will trust me, but looking for an easier way out.

I agree on that let them fix it.it would take you longer to fix it then to drive 45 min in ft lauterdale traffic.
and if you dont fix it properly then you really can't take it back to them.

You know I`ve seen this on this site many times now. Knock on wood, that it hasn`t happened to me. But I think I would try a riv-nut over all of this here. First and formost I`d see if the warranty would cover though.
