    2000 gp1200r motor

    im going to do a conversion and i cant decide to pull my motor out of the ski or wait till winter to sell the motor. but if some one is very very interested in the motor ill pull it with in the next month im looking for $1500 + shipping the motor has 126hours on it and ill get the compression readings next week.

    You should Pull the motor....take some detailed pictures...get some compression numbers...and go into more detail on the condition of the motor/parts....how are the Carbs?...ever serviced?....freshwater boat?....ever had any major service?...

    ...this would help you sell it faster than "bump" ...lol...good luck with the sale.

    im in no real big hurry to sell the motor just wanting to see if someone was interested in it before i made my decision on keeping it whole to ride it this summer or just go ahead and pull it and have it ready if a rxp-t shows up cheap.

    motor fires right up but middle cylinder is low on compression

    the compression readings front 120, middle 40, back 135 here some pics

    im going to pull the motor this weekend hopefully

    $1500 for the motor and all electrical + shipping cost

    That motor might run a little rough with those compression numbers. Your best bet is to tear the whole thing down, take picks of the parts, and part it out. Let me know what you find caused the failure on #2 as I may be interested on buying the the engine. Thanks Mike
