welcome to the polaris side .

looks too me, a painted 700 cc twin, duel carb model.

these twins also came with one carb..

    normaly the 700, 800, 900, 1050, 1200's are red..they are the "domestic" engine..

the other 650 750 780 785 are blue fugi (exept the 785 that is black)

99 would be the year, at the end of the him plate

Yep, 1999 700cc two cylinder Polaris engine, with dual carburetors.

The links below will get you started

Be aware that the original ignition in the 1996-1999 engines can fail. There is an Ignition Update Kit available, if needed. About $300, and much more reliable.

If the original gray Tempo fuel lines are still present, they should be changed. And the carbs should be cleaned and rebuilt, just to be sure they are good inside.

These engines really like a healthy battery, so make sure the battery is 100%.

    Polaris Domestic (red) engine

I just bought a Polaris PWC - what should I do?

I'm pretty sure any 700 exhaust pipe from 98-2004 will work fine.
I'd stay away from the 96-97 models.

Here is one I found on E-bay at a good price

Note, in later years,Polaris painted the pipes black instead of Red.
