    Rave valves

    I have a 97 seadoo challenger 1800. that keep melting exhaust piston in the rave valve. The bellows is just fine. Have anyone ever had this problem... HELP!!!

    inside the rave valve the plastic part that screws on the metal valve and the the bellows fits around it. part #9 on all the parts list....

    I have the same problem on my 97 GTX 787 engine, I have replaced them like 4 times with used parts. I'm guessing that the rod and valve are worn and hot air is leaking through and melting the caps.
