Blew my back out....
Well, my jet ski year may be over before it even started. I haven't used my ski since last November and it doesn't look like that is going to change.
While snowboarding in Colorado in March I took a nasty fall on my tailbone on a snowboarding jump. I have been on pain meds for 3 weeks with no relief - got an MRI on Tuesday. 5 bulged discs, 3 disc herniations. 2 are pressing on my spinal nerve and 2 are pressing on the root nerves for my right leg causing me to lose feeling in my upper right leg.

New got worse today. Orthopedic surgeon down in Boca looked at the MRI and basically just referred me out to a spinal surgeon. One disc herniated out, up and down - like a mushroom cap. He felt there was very little that could be done other than surgery - the concern is that two of the discs are compressing my spine to the point that I am losing feeling in my right leg (and my third leg...damn, haven't had a woody in about 3 weeks). So, it doesn't look like I am going to be able to avoid it.
