    Knock knock

Are there any less expensive alternatives for knock (even non MoTec) that can be logged for i2?

    Hi David
Seriously, there really isnt anything that will do the same as a correctly calibrated, gated knock measurement device.
There used to be aftermarket knock systems around that work on the amplitude of the signal only, but this type of system is less suitable for high RPM engines such as the PWC, reason being that the higher the RPM the more the back ground noise.

I hate that our solution is so expensive and have been punching up my boss about a good price reduction, I belive that I had a win and there is new pricing coming through very soon.

    Cheers
