Exclamation HELP problem with 2003 RXDI 951cc

having a problem with my 2003 RXDI loss of acceleration and top speed and the hull is taking in a lot of water only when running when taking off its pretty good little lazy but once it hits 35 to 40 MPH thatís it you hold the throttle to the bar and it bogs but at half throttle it runs fine but cant go anymore than that

Now that we have established where this thread should be, and in fact is...

Do you have any messages on your LCD gauge?

Have you ridden it with the seat off to try and get an idea of where the water is coming from?

sounds like you might have an exhaust leak, fumes kill the performance and the water well it fills the bilge up.
look at all hose connections first, but I find many that the resonators melt

I second checking the exhaust. I had a problem with what I though was water intrusion last year that ended up being a hole in my pipe. Put it on the hose and examine the exhaust very throughly. Mine did not run bad untill the hull filled to the point it could no longer self bail.

Put it on the hose and run it for a while and see if the hull fills with water. This will tell you if you have a coolant line or exhaust leak. I could not see my exhaust/water leak while riding with the seat off. I even missed it the first time on the hose. It was on the bottom side of the head pipe shooting straight down infront of the motor.

You posted it in the right forum. I am not sure what Nils888 is on but I do know he could stop boggarting that stuff and let the rest of us have a hit.

Run it on the hose but make sure to follow the steps:

Engine on, water on, water off, engine off. In that order.

You have a five minute limit on the hose unless you have water spraying on the carbon seal (the driveshaft seal, that is).

If water was left in the engine over the winter it could freeze and easily crack that plastic case cooler on the bottom of the engine.
