    Red face Data logging Help..

Hi guys im new using the motec, i have paid someone to program my motec in my Sho-conversion ski its running 90 mph. I have downloaded both programs (ECu Manager and the i2) I want to try and learn how to work with the motec myself. I have the original file that was made for my ski and i want to do a data logging to post it here and receive some input and ideas from you experts. This are my questions...

    1. How can i make a Data Logging file?
    2. Where can i put the ground cable in order to use the motec without the ski on?

    1. You need this on your PC to extract the data file from the ECU: http://www.motec.com/filedownload.ph...exe?docid=3654
    2. You need this between your ECU and the PC.

    3. Connect the earth wire to the engine block or any similar earth point.
    4. Open the ECU Manager software.
    5. Click on Engine Project
    6. Click on File, Get Logged Data. The data will start downloading to your PC.
    7. At the end of the download, save the file, then delete the file from the ecu.

Okay now to read your file:
    1. Close the ECU Manager
    2. Open the I2 software
    3. Open File, Open Log File, select your file and double click or press enter

You should now have the data graph on the screen.

Edit: I'll start a new thread for this and correct or update this as time goes on.
