    Initial testing of GTX sC

First results of Phils ski...rpm's were @ between 8400/8500
A/F was at 11.9 @ W.O.T......And boost was low @ 9.6-9.8 psi...Air temps about 76-78....water temps were warm amd swamp like...
I took the video an thaught for some reason that I had Mark and the ski in the frame as well...But as we all know Mark is a vampire...And when I got home to check the video this is what I had...lol...0-60 times were in the mid 3 seconds...Mark will post that info...Needless to say the ski has EXCELLENT acceleration...But lots of prop and nozzle work ahead to obtain more top end...As well pinching more boost....9.6 is too low for those rpm's...Once again it is my fault you cant see the ski in the vid...I thaught I was getting both ski and radar..I was looking down the scope of the radar and not looking so much at the camera..I will post a better vid with both ski and radar when we go out to do the prop... The stretch we are running in is about an eighth of a mile...So top speeds are physically tough to get...Our best run was the last few we got...76.1....But we were not yet shooting for top speed...This was more an a/f peramiter tune...and not a speed tune...they are to come...

That thing is pulling hard. Imagine what a B kit would do on that ski

Wait a minute... they are not done yet. This was just the maiden voyage! I think Mark's tuning expertise will really come into play here.

    Phil,

Let me know when you get the GTX back, I'd like to come up your way and check it out and we can do some riding.

It would probably throw a rod thru the side of the block

Seriously, probably a .25 second faster to 60 and would give you a better shot at getting to 80 and do it much much faster.

By the way, nodoby using a B kit has ever thrown a rod thru the block

Mark says my boost is around 9.6 now. I would think it should be up around 11. I'm pretty sure that Mark will catch it and make it right. How much boost are you running at 8,500rpms?
