connected my battery backwards, rxp 07

Hi thought check if anyone has encountered the same thing as me?
I had a little rush when I mounted back my battteri. I happened to connect the battery backwards and now is the ski completely dead! The only thing that happens is that the petrol pump is running all the time when I put the key there.

Is there anyone who has encountered this? If so, what it may be that's broken?

Always check polarity. check fuses, most likely blown, in line fuse to MPM, you might be alright.

You might be REALLY hosed. My brother did that exact same thing to his 96 XP last year, blew fuses and completely toasted the mpem module, ignition module and even the vts. It also melted the ground wiring from the mpem module to the ignition box. We had to piece it together with parts from ebay and finally got it running again. It wasn't cheap/easy/fun and I can only imagine that it must be worse on a rxp with all the added electrical that the old 96 didn't have.

I wonder if you just need a re-flash? I'd get a dealer to hook it up to the BUDS system before I did anything else.
