    XP Bilge pump ?

The bilge pump in my 2000 xp has quit working. Can I wire in a rule with the seadoo wiring or will I have to run new wiring. The replacement from seadoo is 170.00 so i was trying to save a little $ if possible.

i would think so. i will be trying the same thing here soon as mine died also. should just be two power wires. the power is controled by the mpem. just use a automatic pump. make sure you use water proof splices. i also put some heat shrink on top of it for extra protection.

Its just a Rule 500GPH Auto bilge. I paid $59 at west marine last year when it kept blowing fuses. You can go with a manual one, I just liked the idea of an auto. The auto does both auto and manual. 3 Wires to hook up for both options or 2 for auto.

I looked at the wiring an there is a black and brown wire that run to the factory harness. Im gonna try and splice into the harness and heat shink the splice...I report my results when I get it done.

im running 2 rule 500s one on the stock wires and another on a switch. They work fine on a 3 amp fuse.. The Yamaha is a nonautomatic rule 500 and factory cost over $180 put on in for a customer and charged him 25 for the pump and with labor was way under 100

I believe I have one out of a 98xpl, make me an offer, I ain't using it.
Also, you do realize that the ones in the seadoos are not the automatic one. It runs the entire time your ski is running. Send me a pm if your interested.
