    What is your ebay name?

    I have recently bid on a few things and won and on one peticular ocasion I found out the guy I sniped the auction away from was a fellow forum member.
    So I would like to offer my name and hope all will do the same so we can know who it is we are bidding against or buying from.

    ebay=bbartleet.

    "What happens on ebay stays on ebay" . . . . . . .

    I never tell me ebay identity to anyone . . . . period. You just need to make a bid you're happy with and wait and see what happens. It doesn't matter who's toes you might step on, it's not personal . . . . . it's ebay . . . . . .

    If somebody is willing to pay more than me . . . . . so be it, they will win.

    Believe it or not it causes more problems when people try to "play nice". . . . . . . seen it before. . . . JMO

    That's a good point. However, there have been things I have thought of bidding on but didn't for whatever reason, scams or whatever. If I knew it was someone that was a regular on one of the same sites I'm on then I may be less reluctant to bid. And don't mind paying a bit more if it's to a peer and not someone that could care less about the sport and only looking to make a buck.
    If I get outbid by one of you then cool, I guess you wanted it more than me. No hard feelings.

    You got somthin' to hide there 'Crockett?? j/k

    Check their feedback, It's all anyone really has to go on . . . . . . ebay's a crapshoot . . . ya win some . . . ya lose some.

    If you're really worried . . . contact someone who has bought from them recently by back tracking through their feedback.

    Remember for every ebay success story the same seller has had a disgruntled buyer or two.

    I had a guy bid way too much for something once and I just didn't feel right about it . . . . so, I refunded part of his money in cash when I shipped it to him !

    He still e-mailed me to complain that the part "wasn't quite what he expected it to be".

    I had refunded part of his money without him even asking . . . . . and before he even recieved it and HE STILL BITCHED about it !

    I love/hate ebay ! . . . . . or is it hate/love ebay ? . . . . .

    BTW . . . nothing to hide at all . . . except the good deals I have found !
