    Stainless Steel Washers

I am trying to find some stainless steel washers that are .04" thick to shim my ride plate. Obviously they have to fit the stock bolts that secure the ride plate. If anyone knows where a good place to get them or if they have any they want to sell me I'd appreciate it. If there are any .02" thick also let me know.

I use SS 3/8" flat washers from Lowes...they're .045". For fine tuning I got this assortment from McMaster...search for part 9302K91 The .002" shims are about the thickness of tin foil. The slotted ones are handy because you don't have to take the bolts all the way out to add/remove shims.

I just used "off the shelf" 3/8" washers from the hardware. I purchased about a dozen and measured them. Found a bunch that came to .046".

Like the thought of the slotted washers and not having to remove the screws.
