So real world, how fast are they? I know Yamahas are supposedly dry rides in the chop.

Real world 67mph but if he cant ride it and most Yamaha owners cant you'l hurt his feelings. I raced a GTX Sc limited 185 hp against an SHO on the ST johns River Thursday. He got me out of the hole because the plastic pump in it had let the wear ring get eat up. But he never got more than 100 ft infront and couldnt pull away. It suprised me as much as it did him. That SC was hitting 65 on the speedo. Mine would only hit 63. If your Rxp has a good wear ring and opas blocked up you will send him home wondering why he bought that POS....lol

depends on what model it is. if its the new fzr fzs they go about 68-69.

I have the FZS and an RXP. The FZS will bury my RXP running in chop.
You should be able to take him on holeshot and topend if you have any mods to your ski.
My red FZS ran 68 stock. I raced a buddy with RXTX and he beats me a little out of the hole and has me by about 1 mph up top. It will be closer than you would think on holeshot if he knows how to ride.
