    the never ending A/F numbers

okay was able to go out today and key things in -- as the Sig says i have a rrfpr and a begi -- the begi adjustment ( small finger screw adjustment ) is turned all the way out -- at 1800 rpms i was at 13.5 -- 5000 rpms i was at 13.1 at 8100 i was at 11.6 ---but one thing that i didn't like at 2100 rpms there was a bit of a miss with the engine running -- --going from idle was good going from idle to WOT was good -- just a rough spot at 2100 rpms -- any input ?

What was your AFR at 2,100 rpm?

Running the 1:1 and the begi regs together are a great combination as you have the ability to set your Idle, mid & top a/f independantly... however, you will still have areas in between that you just can't do anything about... unless you add a fuel controller & map it properly. Next time out... try to get your idle around 13.0 and see what that does for you!

so what numbers should i get at idle with the rrfpr and not effect the begi ? my understanding is the rrfpr and the begi allows separate tuning -- so can i richen up the idle and leave the begi alone to get it keyed in ?

Yes... just increase your 1:1 regulator setting until you get 13.0 a/f at idle. This will not affect mid & top a/f numbers by much... if any. What's your fuel pressure at idle currently

The 1:1 controls all RPM's up to positive boost then the Begi takes over.
Do you have the reference line hooked up to the 1:1?
Do you have the restrictor in the reference line for the Begi?
Idle AFR can be 14+ and still be safe.
