    What is the best type of air intake type for riding offshore .

    What is the best type of air intake for riding and jumping in offshore conditions with out water ingestion on a GP1300R 06 ? Stock? Flat Filter? Deflector? Cover? etc

    You are not looking for the best accelleration or top speed in the surf, you are looking for protection from water intrusion into you engine. The stocker works the best for this.

    Thanks for the input . I would like to gain alittle punch if I could. I currently have the motor pulled to replace the motor mount I trashed. I ride nearly 100% in the surf in 3ft waves or greater . Just dont want to trade off alot of reliability .

    run the stock air intake and air tubes, and add a jetworks mod

    Cool

    stock with all the stuff out of front,just make sure you reroute air intake hose on that side to pipe side
