    go get a compression tester and search on here how to do it if you dont know how. Whenever something goes wrong like you just poseted never continuue to restart it unless it is your only option if you can not be towed back. Going to have to pull the engine apart it looks like.

    So i had been riding for about 3 hours or so and taking breaks as well.

    I had been at full throttle for a few minutes and then nothing! The motor just shut off. I was confussed and waited about a minute and tried to restart it but it wouldnt start. it was turning over but not starting. I then waited another minute and tried again and it started but felt sluggish. I let go of the throttle and it just stalled.

    no warning lights came on at all.

    I tried this again and it began to run and i didnt let off the gas. I went from half to 3/4 throttle. I rode for a few minutes more and the warning light came on so i shut it down.

    So i waited a few and restarted and went on my way.

    i rode to the dock which was about ten minutes away. i let it cool down for about 45 minutes.

    Now i had to head back to the ramp and i hit start and nothing. i tried again and it started on the third attempt. I headed back and now the warning light was on because i was out of gas.

    It has trouble starting and now it does not idle but just stalls out.

    i flushed it with my hand on the throttle at low low rpms just so it wouldnt stall (1.5 to 2k rpms)

    whats up with my new ski ????

    check compression

    i have a tester- ill do that asap. i really holpe i dont have to remove and rip apart this engine already!!

    well it doesnt look good, I did the compression test and here are the results:

    cyclinder 1, 115
    cyclinder 2, 115
    cyclinder 3, 25

    the number 2 was just replaced!!

    im starting to think somehow the premix conversion was done incorrectly.
    does oil need to go anywhere else aside from the gas tank??

    pretty much goof proof on the block off, and no oil in the crankcase

    tear it down and get photos posted up

    40:1 with a little extra for good measure because of the new rebuild in cyc. 2

    Might has a air leak from the case! Good luck mate This is the world of 2 strokes.
