    Yes, This is my old one & I had the brass bushing bored to fit the OEM shaft & ran it on my RXP for 9 or 10 hrs. As you can see in the pic there was no touch down & the seals are still OK. So, although some water still got in the seal like the bearing version, it did no harm at all. It worked well and I was more at ease with the bushing not rusting out.

    The one from you is still untouched for the machined shaft.
