A little late for pics, but maybe tomorrow I will snap a few ....

On my RXP X it is mounted just underneath the small "glovebox".

On my RXT X I mounted it right on top of the stock airbox.

Both have the Spectre Stainless Steel filter mounted to them as well. It is kinda tricky finding a spot that is out of the way of everything else and where it wont bang on the inside of the hull.

I'm sure there are guys who have it posted if you search for it.

Heres the link. I got mine at Pep Boys for around $ 55.00. If you decide to use this one make sure you mount it up front because even thou they say its Stainless Steel the mesh will get corroded so try not to get it wet I use some K&N Filter oil litely sprayed on it for corrsion prevention. It flows alot better than the cotton embossed ones.

NO!!! That vent openning also allows air in the hull for circulation. Mount it as others have...above the fuel cell and under the glovebox. mounting it this way will put it up close to that vent openning anyway.

PS - Look up the LA Connection thread in the southeast rides section.

Picture on GTX/RXT, but should be similar, if not identical to RXP.
