Send 'em back and get a full rebuild on both. It's mo' money, but cheap "insurance". It won't mean anything good if your new washers are intact if your bearings let go...

at 100hrs you should be asking should I do a rebuild or buy an X-Charger.

    Rebuild:
    Parts: $310
    Labor to install: ~$85?
    shipping both ways: ~$30
    Total: $425

end result: back to where you started. didn't gain anything except increased longevity of the supercharger.

    Buy a brand new XCharger:
    XCharger: $499
42lbs injectors (needed for larger super charger): $200
    Total: $700

end result: Brand new 0 hr supercharger with a lot more kick to it.

So at a bare minimum you have to spend the $425. So why not pony up the extra $275 and really wake that ski up.

Either which way... the washers alone is not enough.

Would you need a new prop as well? with the extra power from the x charger wouldnt he or myself hit rev limiter/ I am already turning 8140. Could you just do a repitch to save some money?

yep, you'll be all over the limiter with a stock prop and the x charger...even with a 14/19. where did you find a brand new x charger for 499? that's SUPER cheap.

I would get the full rebuild + Washers if I were you. I was in your shoes a couple months ago. I chose only to install the riva washers. But guess what, I threw a bearing and now my supercharger is toast and I have metal dust and fragments in my engine. My ski has 70 hours.

+1...I did it and it does wake the ski up.
