Thanks for your reply...looking at both installation instructions ...they do look pretty much the same....as far as that VTS nut...hhhmmm...not sure how you did that...but i'll take a closer look...I would asume that the pump would have to come off to even get near it...

    Thanks again..!!

RE's are better as they extend all the way to the back of the Hull, the Rivas dont.

heres a pic of my RE blockoff's... Oh and to get the VTS Nut got to home depot or rona and get Black PVC pipe heat the end up and slid it over the vts nut, let it kool and BAM you have a VTS nut removal tool

    Opas removal and block offs

You do not have to remove the vts nut to do this.this is a very simple removal and super easy install, you wont have any problems. Just take your time...re block-offs for me too.

Whatever you do, don't get the cheap Riva $100 ones like me.

Looking back, I am not quite sure why they tell you to remove the VTS nut? I didn't have to on mine.

It can be done without removing the VTS box. I believe the instructions were made for both the TX and PX where you would need to remove the VTS Box to get the extra hoses off the RXT OPAS.

As far as block off I got the RE ... look SICK once installed and perform like a dream ... you will never question this purchase!

I noticed that the installation on the RE for the left side was a little off compared to the right. A few other members complained about the same problem. Although just start all 4 bolts BEFORE tightening any of them down!!! Then slowly tighten all four little by little until they are nice and tight!

    RE's FTW!

@ OCMAN - You have a relocation kit???? You had to remove the VTS to get the old IC Bracket out .... It's the BIG BLACK PLASTIC NUT that holds the complete VTS in place. You also did the bucket mod ... Did you had to take off the VTS arm in order to remove and cut the bucket unless you just left it on?? :P I went to Home Dept and bought some plumbing sockets for $15 and it came right off!

    Sarcasm ???????????

Hey guys, does anyone know where to get the block offs that go all the way to the end of the hull? I remember seeing something like it a while ago. Was it Jerry maybe?

I think you are thinking about these fiberglass ones ...

    http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthre...ght=fiberglass

I think they pulled them because they were only mounted using epoxy and were falling off
