    bronze valve guides

I'm freshing up my cylinder head and exploring my options. I've got a couple of valve guides that need to be replace. Going to replace all of the exhaust guides. Exploring my options. OEM, bronze, or other options? What do you guys think? After maket ECU and 2rude. Anyone ever run anything other than OEM cast iron guides?

I saw the SBT guides anyone used them?
Anyway, I was looking at bronze as an option since the exhuast wear at a much faster rate that intake guides. After 130hrs the 2 exh guides in#1 cylinder were borderline reuseable. I've never used bronze guides before and I read that they last longer.

The OEM, and SBT guides are made of some super hardened material, that most machine shops cant ream, without a special reamer. It's not only the size, it needs to be diamond honed.

I bought a set of SBT's, and they look identical to OEM in every way, but went with bronze ones so any automotive machine shop could replace, and ream them. Also way cheaper than OEM's.

My local machine shop ordered some, by specs, that were just a little longer, and cut them down to fit the seals.
