bronze valve guides
I'm freshing up my cylinder head and exploring my options. I've got a couple of valve guides that need to be replace. Going to replace all of the exhaust guides. Exploring my options. OEM, bronze, or other options? What do you guys think? After maket ECU and 2rude. Anyone ever run anything other than OEM cast iron guides?

sbt has some way cheaper than seadoo..seadoos will kill you ..they are like 30 bucks each..sbt are like 4 .. intake should be ok ..exhaus take some abuse ..mine were ok after 110 hours...
and port the crap out of it...

Anyway, I was looking at bronze as an option since the exhuast wear at a much faster rate that intake guides. After 130hrs the 2 exh guides in#1 cylinder were borderline reuseable. I've never used bronze guides before and I read that they last longer.

I bought a set of SBT's, and they look identical to OEM in every way, but went with bronze ones so any automotive machine shop could replace, and ream them. Also way cheaper than OEM's.
