Went to my first race today..

Guys I went and watched a race today for the first time.
Lake summerville. I think. Near brenham TX.

All I can say is it was fun.
I was very surprized how well the stxr's still do against RXP's in stock class. A XPL won that class. Eric.
Even mod class the Stxr was in the lead until his hull delaminated. And in this class the XPL's were in the back.

    This was a Super coarse.
After seeing how hard it was for these guys to keep there RXP's in the water. I was amazed.
I think I want to try it next year in stock class.

STXRs and XPLs are the best closed course skis, RXP ain't worse shit around buoys unless they're built by Franco and ridden by Jimmi Bosio.
Er wait, that makes it only one RXP on this planet that can somewhat compete with STXs and XPs.

And I said COMPETE, not win, even them aren't there yet and I doubt they ever will.

11, I have to agree with you, but the XPL's had there hads full in the mod class on this Super coarse. Are they weren't the fast one's I guess.

The Stxr that was winning was just staying hooked, but the RXP behind him was doing well.

RXP ended up winning as the stxr's hull delaminated.

    Anyway it was fun.

Sounds like fun . I'm goin up to maryland at the 301 bridge to see a race on the last weekend this month. My friend is tryin to talk me into running in the super course next year and that probably what I will do since one friend is telling me not to do closed course cuz my ski will get the crap beat out of it.

RXPs do ok on regional races on lakes thanks to their MASSIVE advantage in stock horsepower and the LOOOONG backstraights, but there's no beating a full blown superstock STXR, XP or even GPR with ANY RXP on a closed course, no matter how much it's modded.

But Franco is now working on an RXT for Havasu and since Mac will not race his demoniac 15F SC that will leave Farthing only to defend Kawasaki's titles.

And bosio on Franco's RXT has all his chances over Farthing on a 15F SC.
