    96 slt780 blown piston

finally got the jug and piston off the mag end,but the exhaust was a ##$^&* to get off one bolt snapped off. hardly any room to maneuver to get the manifold off either, no wonder shops charge what they do! i guess the question is can i get away with just replacing the one cyl? it took the other cyl heads to chech and they look good, a tan/brown color of carbon on the top of pistons. is that normal? any help would be greatly appreciated!

go by the piston wash are there clean spots on the edges? Check the cylinder walls for scouring. fingernail sized clean spots by the ports is good all one color is lean
